CHERISHING
AND
CHALLENGING
OUR CHILDREN
AND
GRANDCHILDREN
This seminar
will take a
balanced
look at the
many aspects
of
cherishing
and
challenging
the children
in our lives
to be all
they can be
for Jesus
Christ. We
will look at
personalities,
how children
learn,
discipline,
self-esteem,
teaching
responsibility,
caring
communication,
prayer and
reading with
children.
This seminar
closes with
a song that
reminds us
to cherish
our children
today.
COMMUNICATION
CONUNDRUMS
Communication
is so much a
part of who
and what we
are and yet
it gets so
confusing.
Does our
communication
build
bridges or
create
roadblocks?
Come and
learn how to
be more
effective in
your
communicating
to make it
connect with
your mate,
children,
coworkers,
family, and
friends.
FRAGRANCE OF
OUR
FRIENDSHIP:
In this
session we
will look t
what true
friendship
is and what
makes up
being a
friend. We
will look at
women relate
to one
another and
the garden
variety of
who we are
as well as
how to
express the
fragrance of
our
friendships.
(Please
note: this
can be a
women’s
retreat as
well.)
GIVING GIFTS
OF TIME
This seminar
will help us
to find ways
to give more
of ourselves
in order to
bless
others. We
will look at
how God has
gifted us
and how we
can, in
turn, give
this away
and receive
a blessing,
instead of
simply
feeling
“spent.”
LOVE
LANGUAGES
In this
session we
will look at
the five
love
languages of
encouraging
words,
giving gifts
of time,
physical
touch, gift
giving and
acts of
service. We
will find
ways to
express as
well as
receive love
more
effectively
through
these
different
love
languages.
ONCE UPON A
TIME
What do we
do when the
fairy tale
doesn't come
true? How to
look at our
dreams in
light of
reality with
a more
humorous
perspective.
We will also
look at ways
to enhance
the marriage
relationship.
PRIORITIZING
OUR
PRIORITIES
As busy
Christian
women, we
find that we
often have
too many
time
commitments.
It may not
be that any
are wrong,
but we
simply have
too much to
do. This
seminar will
help us to
better
prioritize
our many
priorities
so that we
are more
balanced
rather than
over-burdened.
SPIRITUAL
DISCIPLINES
FOR THE
WOMEN OF THE
NEW
MILLENIUM
We will look
at ways to
deepen our
“walk” to
better match
our “talk”.
We will find
ways to sink
our
spiritual
roots deeper
so that we
may bloom
more
beautifully
for Christ.
THE
FRAGRANCE OF
OUR
FRIENDSHIP
We will look
at what true
friendship
is and what
constitutes
being a
friend. We
will look at
how women
relate to
one another
and the
garden
variety of
who we are
as well as
how to
express the
fragrance of
friendship.
THE PRESENTS
OF OUR
PRESENCE
We will look
at how we
are PACKAGED
and our
PERSONALITIES
and
PERCEPTUAL
STRENGTHS
and how
these factor
into our
PRESENCE. We
will look at
how we can
be
PROGRAMMED,
PRUNED AND
PURIFIED to
better
PRODUCE the
fruits of
the Spirit.
We will also
find ways to
be more
effective in
PRIORITIZING
OUR
PRIORITIES
in order to
best PRESENT
the gifts of
our PRESENCE
so that we
can be a
blessing to
others.
WIVES'
EXPECTATIONS
OF THEIR
HUSBANDS
We will look
at where our
expectations
often come
from and
then we will
look to the
Scriptures
to help us
determine
how to
redefine
these
expectations
in light of
God's word.
